Worship

Life without worship is a contradiction in terms. Just as God made people for food and water and warmth, he made us for thanksgiving, praise, reverence, and awe. And just as it is God’s nature to overflow with blessing to the world, he made humanity in his image to respond back in overflowing expressions of blessing.

At Hope Community, worship is central to everything. Worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen in our responses. It means purposing together, as individuals and as a community, to unite our actions, intentions, and emotions in loving response to God. It means transforming the ways we think so that what we do and who we are become one—in, for, through, and to the Father, Son, and Spirit. And while we gather as a community on Sunday, worship is the Jesus way to live everyday.
