Retreats & Weekend Events

Spending time together away from our normal contexts offers us a chance to reflect and grow in ways we often overlook during our everyday routines. Here are some Hope Community events of this nature. 

Conferences at Hope
We host weekend conferences on occasion, like Justice Tapestry or Listen Up with Brad Jersak. Visit the Conferences page to listen to recordings from these unique gatherings. 

Hope Family Camp
It is a new tradition for Hope to take a weekend away at camp in the late spring. Watch for registration details in the bulletin. 

Marriage Retreat
The marriage retreat is a fun low-risk place for couples to connect with each other. It is held annually on the first weekend of November, usually in Banff. 

Covenant Bay Bible Camp
Our beloved Covenant camp in Alberta, located on Pigeon Lake, offers a full summer of camping for the whole family and a host of annual weekend events including Ladies Retreat, Men’s Wilderness Retreat, Solitude and Reflection Retreat, Senior High Fall Retreat. Other retreats and conferences also take place at Hope on an occasional basis. In the past we’ve held life group guided retreats, ‘Spa for the Soul’ women’s retreats, weekend conferences on topics like listening prayer, and a variety of youth retreats.
