Guys and Girls Night Out

On Tuesday nights we will be taking a break from Plugged In to instead break out in smaller groups and talk about age-and gender-specific issues.  We will meet at 7 pm at our respective locations, and will be done by 9 pm.  Please contact Pastor Corinne if you have questions or concerns.  Meeting locations are as follows.

Baby bottles are available at the Welcome Table to fill with donations of cash or cheques in support of the developing Strathmore Pregnancy Care Centre. Please return bottles by June 16th.  All funds raised will stay here in Strathmore.  In the fall a training day will be offered in Strathmore for anyone interested in getting more involved.  This training will be open to all and will be announced as the date and details become final.

PALM SUNDAY - March 24

Today marks the beginning of what is called Holy Week in the life of the church.  On this day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey to celebrate the Passover with friends.

10:30 a.m. Good Friday Community Service at Hope

The Community Good Friday service will be on March 29,10:30 am, at Hope Community Covenant Church and is sponsored by the Strathmore Area Ministerial group. Each year a different church is responsible to lead the service, and this year the Strathmore Alliance Church is in charge.  Chris Haggith, the church planting pastor of the new Alliance work in Langdon will be speaking.  An offering will be taken for the Growing Families Society.

RESURRECTION SUNDAY – March 31

 “In His great mercy God has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”         (I Peter 1:3)

11:00 a.m.  Resurrection Celebration Service - No Kids Church or Youth Sunday School.  Preschool Child care will be offered.
