During this Lenten season, Hope Community has been

on a journey through the Sermon on the Mount in the book of Matthew. 

We encourage every family to join us by reading the scripture above.

Holy Week Events

Stations of the Cross

In the lobby of the church, you will find several drawings depicting various scenes of Jesus’ journey to the cross.  Each drawing is based on scripture.  Participants are invited to view and pray each drawing as a way to know Jesus better.  If you would like to pray through the Stations of the Cross, feel free to come by the church during office hours - Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.    

Upper Room -  Thursday, April 5, 6 - 8 pm

On Holy Thursday, the whole church is invited to gather for a hands on experience that will help us enter into Jesus’ journey to the cross. We will end our evening together by taking communion.  All ages are welcome!

Good Friday Service, 10:30 am

All of Strathmore will be gathering at Hope on Good Friday, April 6, at 10:30 am. This year it is St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church’s turn to host our town in worship. 

Easter Sunday Celebration, 11:00 am

Nursery and preschool care only will be offered during the service.  There will be no Kids Church or Youth Sunday School however all kids ages 5 & up are invited to be part of a celebratory processional. Children wishing to participate can meet in the library before service to get their flag and  directions.
