Children at Hope

Hope Children’s Ministry believes God has called our church to show his love to every child in Strathmore. We partner with parents and other caring people to develop a foundation of faith in Jesus in children and their families.

We are also initiating a number of practical service projects to meet needs of children in our town. Through friendship, fun activities and creative learning, children grow in their relationship with God and their understanding of God’s word and world. Children’s Ministry at Hope is age appropriate, safe, interactive and caring.

Nursery Care
Nursery care is on Sunday morning for children 2 years of age and younger.

Treehouse
Treehouse is a preschool program provided Sunday mornings. Geared for children 2 - 5 years old, Treehouse has songs, play time, learning and snacks.

Kids Church
Meeting on Sunday during the service, this high energy children’s experience is provided for kindergarten through grade 6.  Kids can look forward to music, games, video, Bible teaching and small groups.  Children will be dismissed from the serivce.

Special Needs
We have a program set up to accommodate those children with special needs. We offer one-to-one care and other modifications as needed.  Please call the church for more information on this program.

KC Dance
On Tuesdays, from 4 - 5 pm, children ages 5 - 12 and invited to come and learn some cool dance moves. We ask for $2/class to help cover costs.  All kids welcome - no experience necessary!

Club 56
Wednesdays after school until 5:00, kids in grade 5 & 6 can come and hang out with food, games, fun and friends. Come and check it out!  Location changes between Hope Church and Brentwood School.  Check the Calendar of Events for this week’s location.

School Fuel
In response to requests from the principals at Strathmore’s three public elementary schools, Hope Community is seeking to meet the daily need for breakfast for approximately 90 students across town. Please partner with us to show God’s love to these hungry kids - be Jesus’ hands and feet with us.

For more information on how you or a child can get involved see the right-hand column.

Hope Community Playschool
Offering 3 & 4 year old classes.  The purpose of Hope Community Playschool is to facilitate the individual child’s natural development in the physical, emotional, intellectual, creative, and spiritual areas.  We believe this is made possible in an environment where trust, respect, security, caring, open communication, and shared decision making are valued.  Go to the Hope Community Playschool webpage…

Hope’s children organized a bottle drive for Strathmore’s Christmas Hampers in 2008.
